Then you go to work and you make sure that everyone there is doing what they need to do, even your boss. You just do that because you've always done it. Well maybe it's time you moved up. You want to be the boss? Well now's your chance - Domino's Pizza is hiring bosses - more specifically assistant managers. It’s a tough job, one that needs a natural like you. Of course, you’ll need some skills - judgment, math and the ability to multitask.
RESPONSIBILITIES
All shift operations, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations.
Set the example and enforce company policy and procedures.
Staff, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling.
Maintain store image, uphold standards, deliver great customer service, ensure attendance and punctuality.
Maintain store cleanliness, marketing activities, profitability.
Transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Proficient with computer keyboard or touch screen.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within delivery area.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements.
Operational handling of equipment, ingredient stocking, product preparation, order receipt, inventory, paperwork, and facility cleaning.
WORK CONDITIONS
Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler to 90°F or above in some areas.
Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
Handling hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Adverse terrain during delivery, driving and couponing.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position with walking surfaces of ceramic tile or linoleum.
Walking: for short distances/durations. Delivery personnel must travel between store and delivery vehicle as well as to customers.
Sitting: paperwork normally completed at a desk or table.
Lifting: bulk product deliveries up to 50 lbs (cases of ingredients and supplies). Trays of pizza dough up to 12 lbs may be carried.
Carrying: large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), and trays of pizza dough.
Pushing / Pulling: trays on dollies, requiring up to 7.5 lb of force.
Climbing: infrequently navigate stairs or a ladder; delivery may involve five or more flights of stairs.
Stooping/Bending, Crouching/Squatting, Reaching: performed continuously as required during assembly and stocking.
Driving: deliver pizzas within a designated area. Requires a valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle.
