At work, you ensure that everyone there, even your boss, is meeting expectations. Domino's Pizza is looking for a natural leader to step up from assistant manager to General Manager. This role demands strong judgment, math skills, and a capability to multitask.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all operations during your shift, including cost control, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
Set the example for staff; enforce all policies and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from the crew.
Staff scheduling, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, adherence to standards, great customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and overall profitability.
GENERAL JOB DUTIES FOR ALL STORE TEAM MEMBERS
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / SKILLS
Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
Make correct monetary change.
Process orders verbally, in writing, and via telephone; use a computer keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders.
Navigate maps, locate addresses, and deliver items efficiently.
Perform tasks with motor coordination and rapid, precise movements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing: most tasks are performed from a standing position on ceramic tile or linoleum; work surface height 36"–48".
Walking: short distances for short durations; driving the delivery vehicle to customers.
Handling: lift bulk product deliveries up to 50 lb, stack onto shelves up to 72" high.
Carry: large cans (≈3 lb), deliveries up to 30 lb, trays of pizza dough (~12 lb each) over short distances.
Pushing: move trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 lb of force; pull the same.
Climbing: navigate stairs or ladders; deliver to multiple flights of stairs.
Bending: forward bending at the waist for 30–45 s at a time; stooping/squatting to stock low shelves.
Reaching: continuous up, down, forward; reach above 72" occasionally.
Driving: deliver pizzas within the designated area; valid driver’s license required.
Tools: use pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, and peel.
WORK CONDITIONS
Varying temperatures (36 °F–90 °F+ interior, 90 °F+ exterior).
Exposure to weather when removing trash or performing outdoor tasks.
Fumes from food and cornmeal dust; cramped spaces such as walk‑in cooler.
Hot surfaces up to 500 °F; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
