Assistant Manager
– Domino’s Pizza
The Assistant Manager leads the daily operation of a Domino’s store, ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while mentoring team members.
Responsibilities
Own all shift operations: cost control, inventory, cash handling, and customer relations.
Follow all company policies and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from the crew.
Staff scheduling, paperwork, and operational cost control.
Maintain store cleanliness, food safety, and visual standards.
Provide excellent customer service and handle cash transactions accurately.
Drive marketing and promotional activities to boost sales.
Ensure punctuality and compliance with transportation requirements.
Lead by example and set the tone for teamwork and professionalism.
Assist with training, orientation, and performance evaluations of team members.
Qualifications
Strong judgment, math skills, and multitasking ability.
Basic computer literacy: order entry via keyboard or touch screen.
Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
Ability to read maps, navigate within a delivery area, and handle adverse terrain.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, and pull in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
Work Conditions
Varying temperatures (36–90°F) across in-store and delivery areas.
Exposure to hot surfaces, fumes, cornmeal dust, and sharp edges.
Adverse weather during outdoor tasks and deliveries.
Compacted spaces like walk-in coolers and high kitchen equipment.
Physical Requirements
Stand for most of the shift; extensive walking, short distances.
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds using hand trucks.
Perform routine bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching up to 72 inches.
Climb stairs or ladders as needed for maintenance or deliveries.
Drive for delivery service; navigate multiple flights of stairs when required.
