Job Description
The
Branch Manager
is responsible for the overall branch operational performance including inventory management and leading team members in the areas of inside/counter sales, driver/delivery and warehouse support.
This position will serve
Rheem Northeast Distribution
customers in the Northeast Region of the U.S., located in
Bohemia, NY .
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service
Maintain and manage daily reports
Monitor and maintain inventory levels within the warehouse and showroom
Manage/improve productivity and efficiency at all levels
Organize and maintain a positive showroom appearance
Responsible for training and leading a diversified workforce
Assist HR Manager with recruiting process
Manage inventory to ensure proper turns and minimum loss throughout the year
Keep abreast with technical developments and changes in product lines, monitor competitive threats and discuss proper response and reaction with Regional Manager
Understand and report P&L information for company location
Conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner in all aspects of interaction with contractors, customers and employees
Coordinate Center training and Company/Center events
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
5 years or more operational experience, preferable within the HVAC industry
Associate of Bachelor degree in Business or related field preferred
Proven success in sales, operations, purchasing and inventory management
Proven success in managing and mentoring other employees
Capable of working in a fast paced environment with skills to multi‑task at different levels
Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service are required
Must be able to deal with customers, contractors, and employees in a professional manner
High level of organization and follow through
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Pay The pay scale for this position is $88,452 - $150,228. Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria.
