What You’ll Do Lead strategic growth and drive HDR’s global market share and revenue. Build trust with key clients, aligning HDR’s capabilities to their needs. Lead major pursuits and campaigns, developing winning strategies and guiding proposal efforts. Shape regional market strategy in collaboration with market and operations leadership. Mentor and train business‑development talent, fostering a culture of client focus. Match talent and expertise to client needs and growth opportunities, collaborating with operations partners. What You Bring (Roles & Responsibilities) Achieve global booking goals for the Waste Sector. Manage regional Waste business‑development leaders. Maintain deep market trend analysis. Collaborate with the Waste Sector Director to create a long‑term vision. Oversee annual and long‑term strategic plans, including growth initiatives. Lead major pursuit teams and capture planning. Identify and fill management, technical, and marketing positions. Develop client plans and strategies to capture market share. Maintain strong relationships with key Waste sector clients. Engage with professional associations to elevate HDR’s brand.> Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Professional or engineering registration or related technical experience. Demonstrated experience winning high‑value contracts in the Waste industry. Required Qualifications Minimum 15 years of relevant industry experience. Self‑starter with a history of project completion under limited oversight. Deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry’s standard procurement approach. Demonstrated ability to motivate, inspire, and build client networks. Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies. Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Willingness to travel and engage in person. Experience growing programs in new or competitive markets. Experience writing compelling technical content. Primary Location United States – Nebraska – Omaha Compensation The targeted salary range for this position is $167,580 – $277,200 plus comprehensive benefits.
