Our client, a well-respected and long-standing organization in the power and energy space, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their Finance & Accounting team. $73,920 - $94,000

Responsibilities: Payroll Administrator
Administer, monitor, and review payroll processing for employees across the U.S.
Oversee non-exempt payroll cycles and assist when issues arise
Serve as the payroll SME, tackling complex payroll, system, and integration challenges
Lead initiatives such as new pay group implementations and pay transfer resolutions
Act as key liaison with ADP, recommending programming specifications and ensuring system accuracy
Partner with vendors (e.g., Vanguard) for compliance and filings
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll issues and improve processes
Produce payroll-related reports, ad hoc analyses, and compliance documentation
Support HR-driven activities related to compensation and payroll
Recommend improvements to payroll processes, controls, and pay policies
Qualifications: Payroll Administrator
Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)
CPP or FPC certification preferred
7+ years of experience as the primary
Payroll Administrator
for a mid- to large-sized company
Deep expertise with ADP Payroll systems and complex payroll administration
Experience handling both hourly and salaried workforces
Strong compliance knowledge and understanding of payroll regulations
Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Ability to coach payroll team members, manage multiple deadlines, and work autonomously
Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information
Solid accounting skills and ability to support Finance with payroll-related reporting
