VP of Operations
Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 + Incentive Bonus

Key Responsibilities for the VP of Operations:
• Lead daily plant operations across production, maintenance, quality, and workforce management • As a VP of Operations, you'll serve as the strategic bridge between corporate leadership, ownership, and plant leadership to ensure alignment and accountability • Mentor and develop plant leaders - including the plant manager, assistant plant manager, and production supervisors • The VP of Operations will drive organizational development, evaluate staffing needs, and implement scheduling and role optimization • Oversee large-scale expansion projects, facility improvements, and capital initiatives, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met • Lead cultural change efforts to reinforce a mature, collaborative, professional working environment • Negotiate key supply chain decisions, including orders, production timelines, and vendor relationships • The VP of Operations will manage operational KPIs across production, quality, throughput, safety, and efficiency • Support executive reporting and provide insights to leadership, ownership, and investors
Qualifications for the VP of Operations:
• Extensive operations leadership experience within food manufacturing • Proven track record managing large teams and complex production environments • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred given workforce composition • Strong project leadership experience, including expansion and capital investment oversight • The ideal VP of Operations will be patient, steady, and skilled at leading cultural transformation • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across corporate, plant, ownership, and investor groups • High emotional intelligence and the ability to remain solutions-focused under pressure • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and general plant systems; budgeting/financial acumen is a plus
