Payroll & Equity Compensation Specialist

to take ownership of payroll operations and support the administration of employee equity programs. This position plays a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, while also supporting the full lifecycle of equity awards for a public company. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE: Oversee full-cycle payroll processing for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate pay runs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Review payroll reporting for accuracy, including quarterly and year-end filings, W-2s, and audit support Manage employee deductions, benefits, retirement contributions, and garnishments in coordination with third-party partners. Serve as a subject matter expert for the HRIS payroll module; process employee changes such as hires, terminations, and role updates. Reconcile timekeeping records, partnering with managers to ensure correct tracking of hours, PTO, and overtime. Coordinate with the accounting team to prepare monthly payroll entries and accruals. Act as the primary resource for employee payroll-related questions. Administer equity programs, including RSUs, PSUs, stock options, and other long-term incentive plans. Process all equity-related activity (grants, vesting, exercises, releases, forfeitures, etc.) with accuracy and timeliness. Maintain and update the equity administration system, ensuring alignment with HR and payroll data. Respond to employee questions regarding equity plans and provide clear guidance as needed. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years

of payroll processing experience. 2+ years

of experience supporting equity administration within a public company. Professional certifications (CPP, CEP) are a plus but not required. Strong Excel skills and proficiency with payroll systems (ADP experience preferred).
