Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery
Location: Morristown, NJ
Duration: 3+ months contract (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: 7 am to 7:30 pm (3*12) hours shift, every other weekend required. Holidays as needed. Payrate: $69/hour on w2
Note: Non-Taxable Per Diem is provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility.
Duties: · Demonstrates knowledge of policies and procedures and is able to identify areas for clinical and professional growth. · A Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery (RN L&D) provides specialized care to women during childbirth, monitoring both the mother and baby, administering medications, and offering emotional support throughout the Labor and Delivery process. · Consistently follows the National Patient Safety Goals including following Universal Protocol and identifying patient’s utilizing 2 patient identifiers. · Monitoring vital signs, fetal heart rate, and contractions, and assessing cervical dilation. · Demonstrates knowledge and skill of emergency equipment and procedures.
