Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery
Location: Neptune, NJ
Duration: 3+ months contract (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: 7am to 7:30pm/7pm to 7:30am (3*12) hours shift, Weekends and holidays as needed.
Note: Float as needed.
Payrate: $67/hour to $72/hour on w2
**Non-Taxable Per Diem is provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility**
Duties: Demonstrates knowledge of policies and procedures and is able to identify areas for clinical and professional growth. A Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery (RN L&D) provides specialized care to women during childbirth, monitoring both the mother and baby, administering medications, and offering emotional support throughout the Labor and Delivery process. Consistently follows the National Patient Safety Goals including following Universal Protocol and identifying patient’s utilizing 2 patient identifiers. Monitoring vital signs, fetal heart rate, and contractions, and assessing cervical dilation. Demonstrates knowledge and skill of emergency equipment and procedures.
