How You'll Perform The Role
Responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans, both volume and profit, within assigned sales territory.
Secure and maintain distribution of products and maintain effective agreements.
Communicate one-to-one with existing and prospective customers.
Perform field promotion work and develop new accounts.
Demonstrate products and provide assistance in best application of product.
Contact prospects and explain features and merits of products offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.
Analyze records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments and obligations incurred.
Interpret accounts, trends and records for management.
Responsible for closing the sales transaction.
Service accounts and manage relationships regarding pricing, product warranty claims, receivables, etc.
Spend 40% of time in market developing, training and managing brokers to the Objective Sales Plan.
Work in Denver, CO or surrounding area; position is home-based remote sales.
What We Need From You – Qualifications
Must be able to travel frequently (30-35%) including some overnight travel as needed.
Demonstrated skills include initiative, problem solving, negotiation, and persuasive communication (written, presentation and verbal).
Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to function independently.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Education and/or Experience
BA/BS degree preferred in business, sales/marketing or related field.
2-3+ years of previous sales experience.
Relevant industry experience preferred.
