We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Storage IPv6 Administrator to join a leading Company located in the Washington, DC surrounding area.
Pay Rate: $38.47
US Citizenship is required. Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. The Storage IPv6 Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of storage systems within an IPv6-enabled network environment. This role involves ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of storage resources, as well as managing IPv6 configurations and addressing issues related to both storage systems and IPv6 networks.
Job Responsibilities:
Storage System Configuration and Management: Setting up and configuring storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and Direct Attached Storage.
Data Backup and Recovery: Implementing and managing backup solutions to ensure data is regularly backed up.
Storage Performance Monitoring: Monitoring the performance of storage systems to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
IPv6 Configuration: Configure storage technologies to communicate over IPv6 in addition to IPv4.
Basic Hiring Criteria: Must have a minimum of 5 years of related experience providing storage solutions engineering support, to include storage management, administration and maintenance of storage systems (e.g., SAN, INAS) ensuring high availability/and performance.
Ability to monitor storage capacity, health, and performance metrics.
Ability to perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
