Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist

is responsible for managing all aspects of AP and AR to support accurate and timely financial operations. This role ensures proper processing of invoices, payments, and customer receipts while maintaining strong communication with internal teams, vendors, and third-party logistics partners. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at resolving discrepancies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Process and code vendor invoices, check requests, expense reports, and customer payments in alignment with the chart of accounts and company policies.

Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipts; investigate and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal partners.

Maintain invoice and receipt issue logs, reconcile vendor statements, and support internal and external audits.

Collaborate with third-party logistics partners to track sales, validate AR activity, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Reconcile operating cash accounts, code payments/deductions into the ERP system, and address AR-related issues with Distribution & Trade teams.

Participate in regular alignment meetings with logistics partners and assist with ad hoc requests related to sales and finance operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in both accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; NetSuite, SAP, and Bill.com experience preferred.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and strong analytical abilities.
