Associate Recruiter- Accounting & Finance at Sayva Solutions- San Diego About The Role
We are partnering with a growing biotech organization in San Diego seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team for a 3+ month project. This fully onsite position will support daily AP operations, including payment processing, expense management, and reconciliation tasks. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented and thrives in a collaborative, hands‑on environment.
Compensation:
$25 – $40/hr
Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
Employment Type:
Contract (3+ months)
Primary Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding, approvals, and timely payments.
Assist with weekly and monthly payment runs, including ACH and check disbursements.
Support the reconciliation of corporate credit card transactions and employee expense reports.
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate records for inventory‑related purchases and counts.
Help track and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain organized documentation for audits and internal reporting.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of AP procedures and internal controls.
Candidate Qualifications
Previous experience in accounts payable, expense management, or similar accounting functions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline‑driven setting.
Comfortable working in a high‑volume AP environment and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Proficient in Excel; familiarity with ERP or accounting systems is a plus.
Able to work fully onsite in San Diego.
