⚡Director of Power Marketing & Origination Base pay range: $180,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr

Our client is a startup development firm and owner-operator of thermal generation and BESS assets in the Western US.

As a Director of Power Marketing & Origination at this company, you will be responsible for the pricing, structuring, and hedging for a large portfolio of structured energy transactions. You will need to be accomplished in real time marketing of generation assets, as well as developing longer term purchase options for their fleet of batteries due to come online.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute commercial strategy for mid-market power sales

Manage portfolio risk through extensive hedging

Act as trusted advisor to power generators, banks, and downstream energy customers.

Support day-to-day operations and management of portfolio

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in power trading or origination

Experience working in a variety of US energy markets especially ERCOT, CAISO and SPP

Experience in various exchange platforms including Intercontinental Exchange and Nodal Exchange

Proven network of strong customer relationships
