General Manager

Job Duties
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facilities approximately daily.
Training Orientation and training provided on the job.
Essential Functions & Skills
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide accurately and quickly; make correct monetary change; use a calculator if needed.
Verbal, written, and telephone skills.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements quickly.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions Exposure to varying weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F to 90 °F or higher. Sudden temperature changes, fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts. Visual requirements include near and mid‑range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
Physical Demands Standing (most tasks), walking (short distances), sitting (paperwork at a desk), lifting (up to 50 lb cases), carrying (up to 30 lb items), pushing (trays on dollies up to 24–30 in with 7.5 lb force), climbing stairs or ladders, stooping/bending (up to 45 s continuous), crouching/squatting, reaching up to 72 in or down, hand tasks requiring coordination and forceful use of forearms and wrists.
