As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you’ll guide enterprise implementations across all project phases, from discovery to deployment, and manage projects to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery. You will bridge business problems and technical solutions, aligning them with business outcomes.
Your Key Responsibilities
Develop solutions to complex problems and recommend policy changes.
Establish procedures that affect your immediate work area and possibly the broader business function.
Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Excellent oral and written communication skills, comfortable leading conversations with audiences of all levels.
Ability to lead discovery meetings to identify system requirements and understand business processes.
Experience in Salesforce (SFDC) CRM and multiple end‑to‑end implementations.
Salesforce integration experience and familiarity with middleware tools.
Deep experience with Salesforce APEX APIs, triggers, VisualForce, Apex classes, web services, AppExchange, and s‑controls.
Hands‑on configuration experience with Workflow Alerts, Actions, and Approval Workflows.
Leadership in solutioning and design of the Salesforce platform, identifying gaps between current and future state.
Knowledge of Salesforce configuration and platform capabilities.
Work with developers to define specifications for custom code or data migration.
Management of project timelines and economics, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget delivery.
Risk identification, mitigation planning, and change‑management support.
Analysis of application and tools.
Cloud computing architecture expertise.
Cybersecurity and privacy architecture understanding.
Complex problem‑solving and critical thinking.
Relationship building and management.
Communicating with impact.
To Qualify for the Role
Bachelor’s degree (4‑year).
4–6 years relevant experience implementing Salesforce.com with teams of 5 or more, hands‑on configuration and customizations.
Strong oral and written communication skills, comfortable leading conversations.
Familiarity with relational database concepts.
Self‑starter able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent communication, leadership, and client development skills.
Salesforce.com certifications.
Willingness to travel as required by client needs.
Ideally You’ll Also Have
Degree emphasis in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, or Mathematics. Master’s preferred.
Certifications and prior consulting experience highly preferred.
