Market Development Manager – Radiometer
Radiometer, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Market Development Manager (MDM) to nurture and maximize current customer relationships while cultivating new or competitive accounts within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory plan to grow market share, win competitive conversions, and achieve annual revenue targets across assigned product lines.
Maintain accurate sales funnel, customer contacts, activities, and forecast using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Introduce new business opportunities for Radiometer product lines and coordinate favorable pricing and contract terms in line with company growth objectives.
Leverage existing relationships across Radiometer and other Danaher operating companies to improve visibility, customer intimacy, and win‑rates.
Plan, organize, and execute sales calls and lead accounts throughout the sales cycle.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required (Scientific/Business major or other scientific major preferred).
5+ years of sales experience in medical diagnostics, veterinary diagnostics, medical device, or academia and research, including capital equipment sales.
Strong understanding of bioprocessing, therapeutic drug development, veterinary, and agriculture markets is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database/CRM management.
Travel & Physical Requirements
Estimated travel of 50–70% or greater, including overnight travel across a 10–15 state territory and 10% of travel outside the U.S.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
Benefits & Compensation This role is eligible for remote work arrangements. Salary range: $95,000 – $100,000 (subject to change). Competitive commission, bonus, and incentive pay are also available. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
