For millions of teams working in dozens of industries, day-to-day business gets done on the phone. So why — despite the huge leaps we've taken in design and usability — does most business phone software still look, feel, and act like it was born in the 90s? Quo is changing that. We’re a new type of business phone with a mission to help people communicate better and be more productive. We’re backed by Y Combinator and leading venture firms, and we’re proud of being the #1 VoIP Provider on G2.

Quo is the modern, sophisticated answer to the clunky, outdated phone systems that have been slowing down businesses for years.

About The Role We are looking for a hands‑on leader to oversee our Data & Analytics team. As the Senior Director of Data & Analytics, you will build and lead a world‑class data organization that powers product, GTM, and operations at Quo. You’ll define and execute the strategy that ensures every decision is data‑informed while scaling our infrastructure, improving data accessibility, and driving measurable business impact.

Some of the Things You’ll Do

Build, lead, and mentor a high‑impact team of analytics engineers and analysts that deliver dashboards, reports, and insights to teams across product, sales, marketing, support, and finance.

Define and own the long‑term vision, strategy, and roadmap across infrastructure, analytics, and data governance, setting technical direction and standards adopted across the company.

Establish and evolve data governance standards, ensuring compliance with global privacy regulations, and proactively identifying systemic gaps in data quality, trust, and accessibility while standardizing key metrics and definitions.

Oversee and be accountable for all data analytics initiatives, continuously prioritising work, managing trade‑offs, and reallocating resources based on business impact, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and timely delivery.

Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to implement data models and monitor outcomes, ensuring insights directly inform product direction, go‑to‑market execution, and customer experience.

Build on the data culture established across the company through education, storytelling, and partnership, serving as a thought partner to senior leadership to shape company strategy and operating decisions through data.

Promote self‑serve data tools and dashboards that empower teams to access insights faster.

Increase experimentation velocity in partnership with Product and Growth, while improving analytical rigor and accuracy of results. Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to design and evaluate experiments, track user engagement, and guide product evolution.

About You

12+ years of experience in analytics, or data, at a scaling tech company.

You’re a strong people leader with proven ability to build and lead high‑performing teams fostering an environment of empowerment, development, collaboration, while creating feedback loops and effectively managing performance.

Strong fluency in experimental design and statistical methods, with a technical foundation in SQL, and proficiency in Python or similar languages for analytics and modelling. Experience using modern data tooling such as Snowflake, Airflow, Fivetran, dbt, and Amplitude.

Demonstrated success in using data to drive strategic decision‑making in product and growth KPIs.

Deep knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks.

Strategic mindset with a willingness to dive into hands‑on problem solving as needed.

Excellent communication skills and experience influencing senior leaders and cross‑functional partners. Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and narratives for executive and cross‑functional stakeholders.
