We are a venture backed stealth startup in the climate tech sector focused on developing multiple innovative solutions for carbon removal and industrial decarbonization. We are a team of passionate individuals who are committed to creating innovative solutions that address the pressing environmental issues facing our planet today. We are looking for a talented and experienced Electrochemist/Chemical Engineer/Materials Scientist to join our team and help us in our mission to develop multiple cutting‑edge technologies that will enable us to achieve net‑zero by 2050. We are seeking a highly motivated electrochemical test engineer to join our team and play a critical role in developing our carbon removal technology. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industrial processes, experience in process development, and a passion for solving complex problems in the climate technology sector. You will work closely with a team of engineers, scientists, and researchers to design, test, and optimize electrochemical technologies that can be used to tackle several issues in the climate sector. Responsibilities
Testing prototypes of new processes to optimize their efficiency, reliability, and scalability Collaborating with other members of the engineering team to integrate chemical processes into larger systems Developing and executing experiments to test the feasibility and performance of new technologies along with related technoeconomic assessments Analyzing and interpreting experimental data to inform the design and development of new products and processes Desired Qualifications
Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field 2‑5 years of experience in electrochemical cell testing in flow batteries, electrolyzers, or fuel cells. Strong knowledge of chemical reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, and transport phenomena Experience with analytical laboratory equipment and instrumentation such as gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, and electrochemical characterization methods (EIS, CV, Polarization) Experience writing python scripts to interface with data collection and analysis from lab equipment Experience with design of experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis of data Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to a diverse range of stakeholders Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced startup environment Experience with industrial electrochemistry is a plus If you are a highly motivated and creative individual with a passion for sustainability and a proven track record of success in electrochemical engineering, we would love to hear from you.
