CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES
The Manager, Strategic Sourcing - Indirect (e.g., Retail, Entertainment, Professional Services, Marketing, HR) will lead and manage efforts to secure optimal sourcing opportunities with local and regional impacts. This role aims to deliver value, drive savings, increase efficiency, assure supply, and mitigate supply chain risks.
As a strategic partner, the Manager will listen to understand business needs, plan and implement sourcing initiatives, and ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
The Manager is responsible for integrating procurement/sourcing policy using a rigorous strategic sourcing process that includes market/region analysis, supplier risk analysis, baseline spend analysis, RFP execution, contract negotiation, implementation, and monitoring of source recommendations.
Working closely with VP and SVP level stakeholders, the Manager will provide expertise in strategy development, spend management, analysis, and negotiation, while demonstrating leadership and influencing spend decisions.

Lead, develop, and implement an integrated strategic process across brands to identify and leverage sourcing opportunities that deliver competitive economic advantage while maintaining quality and service levels.
Manage Strategic Sourcing initiatives using a complete sourcing process, negotiate multi‑million‑dollar contracts, and engage suppliers at executive levels.
Manage Contracts and key Supplier Relationships.
Engage and collaborate with brand stakeholders and corporate teams to manage the category portfolio, oversee Opex/CapEx spend, develop multi‑year growth plans, analyze market trends, and ensure uninterrupted product/service flow.
Deliver results to performance goals including hard savings, cost avoidance, supplier diversity, and sustainability.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Extensive experience with strategic sourcing processes and deliverables.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and business‑savvy skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders at All levels and drive consensus on spend decisions.
Demonstrated capacity to persuade, negotiate, and advocate for category strategy.
Proficiency in Excel, spend analytics, eRFX tools, and contract management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Travel & Hospitality, Retail, Supply Chain, or related field.
Series of certifications (e.g., CPSM) preferred but not required.
5+ years leading strategic sourcing initiatives within indirect spend.
Demonstrated success in generating savings, cost avoidance, and value add.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced business environment and prioritize changing requests.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and project‑management skills.
Commitment to corporate ethics and compliance.
Physical Demands Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Travel Less than 25% travel, including shipboard travel.
Work Conditions Work primarily in a climate‑controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. The position is classified as “in‑office” but allows remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
