Our client, a fast-growing hospitality services company located in downtown Miami, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team. This role reports directly to the Accounting Manager and will support core accounting operations, financial reporting, and multi‑entity consolidation processes.
This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity that offers a base salary of $90,000 - 105,000.
Description
Oversee the full accounting cycle, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, intercompany activity, and multi‑entity consolidations.
Lead P&L management across business units, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and monthly/quarterly financial reporting.
Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes, external audits, and financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
Establish, enhance, and monitor internal controls and compliance processes.
Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, financial modeling, cost optimization, and KPI development.
Oversee tax filings, intercompany accounting, and cash flow management.
Drive systems and process improvements, including automation initiatives and reporting enhancements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
3–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including multi‑entity consolidation and P&L responsibility.
Proven leadership capabilities, including team development and oversight.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, compliance requirements, audit preparation, and internal control frameworks.
Advanced analytical abilities—budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario modeling.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) and advanced Excel/reporting tools.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data for non‑finance stakeholders.
Willingness to travel (approximately 10%) to support oversight across multiple legal entities.
