Senior Accountant - downtown Miami hybrid
Our client, a growing real estate investment firm in Miami, is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to support its expanding portfolio. The ideal candidate has experience in real estate accounting, strong technical skills, and the ability to work closely with executives, investors, and external advisors.
This is a full-time, on-site role that offers a base salary of $90,000-110,000 plus bonus.
Responsibilities:
Handling the day-to-day accounting function, including general ledger work, AP/AR, payroll, and account reconciliations.
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial statements.
Managing consolidations across multiple entities—holding companies, subsidiaries, and joint ventures.
Assisting with investor reporting, such as capital account maintenance, waterfall calculations, and distribution tracking.
Taking the lead on budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow planning.
Working closely with external auditors and tax teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus.
3+ years of experience in real estate investment or development.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, consolidations, and real estate financial structures (capital calls, waterfalls, promotes).
Experience with real estate accounting systems and reporting tools.
