Park Capital Search
President | Executive Search Partner | PE Shared Services Founder
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Park Capital Search has been exclusively retained by a leading Private Equity Sponsor to identify a transformational Vice President of Finance for one of its rapidly scaling construction platform companies.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This isn't your typical finance role. This is your opportunity to architect the financial infrastructure that will define the next chapter of growth for a dynamic construction organization. We're looking for a builder—someone who gets energized by turning chaos into clarity, implementing world‑class processes, and creating financial systems that don't just track performance but drive it.
RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Strategy & Leadership
Serve as the CEO's strategic partner, providing the financial insight and foresight that shapes company‑wide decisions on growth, capital allocation, and risk management.
Build and execute financial strategies that align with aggressive growth targets and private equity performance expectations.
Process Implementation & Financial Infrastructure (Your Superpower)
Design and implement scalable financial systems, processes, and controls from the ground up—this is where you'll make your mark.
Establish best‑in‑class frameworks for budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting that create clarity and drive accountability across the organization.
Transform financial operations from reactive to proactive, building the infrastructure that supports rapid, disciplined growth.
Job Costing & Project Accounting Mastery
Own the job cost process—ensure accurate, real‑time visibility into project profitability through rigorous job costing, WIP reporting, and margin analysis.
Partner with operations leaders to implement financial controls that improve project performance and eliminate cost overruns.
Deliver financial insights that empower project managers to make smarter, faster decisions in the field.
Mergers & Acquisitions
Lead financial due diligence, valuation modeling, and integration planning for strategic acquisitions.
Identify and evaluate M&A opportunities that accelerate platform growth and create value.
Work closely with the CEO and PE sponsor to execute deals that expand market presence and capabilities.
Build, develop, and inspire a high‑performing finance and accounting team.
Create a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Mentor your team to think like business partners, not just number crunchers.
Reporting, Compliance & Governance
Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting to the CEO, Board, and private equity stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Provide transparency and confidence through exceptional financial communication.
QUALIFICATIONS Must‑Haves:
Proven track record as a senior finance leader in construction, contracting, field services, or other project‑based industries.

Strong M&A experience, ideally in a PE‑backed environment—you've been through the deal cycle and know how to integrate acquisitions successfully.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills—you can translate complex financial concepts into clear action plans.
Business acumen that goes beyond the numbers—you understand how construction operations work and how finance drives performance.
