Technical Recruiter | A/E/C Industry Focused This role focuses on shaping project designs from early concepts through detailed documentation. Responsibilities include interpreting municipal regulations, coordinating with external consultants, organizing internal project workflows, and supporting the overall technical and design direction of each assignment. The Project Architect is expected to apply sound professional judgment using established architectural methods, resolve routine challenges independently, and seek direction on more complex project issues.

Responsibilities

Applies mid-level design principles and contributes to concept development.

Understands standard design methodologies and how they translate into practice.

Produces early design concepts, studies, and options.

Collaborates with design team members throughout schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phases.

Helps translate design objectives into detailed documentation in partnership with senior design leadership.

May research systems and materials to support design intent.

Produces construction documents, drawings, and technical details; incorporates revisions as needed.

Performs code, zoning, and accessibility reviews.

Assists in assembling drawing sets and technical mock-ups.

Coordinates specifications and manages technical deliverables.

Generates detailed construction documents with minimal oversight.

Integrates engineering disciplines into architectural documentation.

Handles a wide range of construction administration tasks independently.

Plans and organizes personal work efficiently to meet project expectations.

Works within established budgets, timelines, and project scopes.

Prepares meeting agendas and documents meeting outcomes in collaboration with the Project Manager.

Communicates progress updates to clients and internal teams.

Coordinates with contractors, consultants, and vendors as needed.

Takes responsibility for assigned tasks and deliverables.

Provides guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff.

Requirements

Degree in Architecture from an accredited program.

Architectural license is a plus but not mandatory.

4+ years of relevant architectural experience preferably in K-12, Higher Education, and/or Municipal

Strong working knowledge of Revit, graphic tools, and 3D design/visualization software.

Background in all stages of design development, including familiarity with building codes, technical specifications, and building systems.

Understanding of project management principles; able to guide the work of junior team members.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and professionally.
