We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced
Staff Accountant
to join our client’s finance team in Baltimore. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full‑cycle accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
Support external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve financial operations.
Mentor junior accounting staff and support their development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in commercial real estate or related industries.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Competitive salary range: $70,000 – $90,000 + bonus
Employees are paid on a biweekly basis.
