Role:
HR Manager / HR Business Partner
Location:
Chicago, IL – Hybrid, 3x/week
The HR Manager / HRBP
will partner with corporate leaders to support strategic HR initiatives and ensure effective execution of HR programs across the organization. This role drives key HR processes including talent reviews, performance management, compensation cycles, employee relations, and workforce planning. Acts as a trusted advisor to leaders while fostering a culture aligned with Hyatt’s values.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with corporate leaders on workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational needs.
Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and colleague development initiatives.
Manage annual compensation planning, salary reviews, and equity adjustments.
Handle complex employee relations cases and conduct workplace investigations.
Coach leaders on performance management, corrective actions, and conflict resolution.
Support culture, engagement, and retention initiatives across teams.
Collaborate with Legal and HR Centers of Excellence to ensure compliance.
Required Qualifications
5–7 years HR experience (minimum 3 years in corporate environment).
Strong experience in talent management, performance management, compensation, employee relations & HR strategy.
Experience supporting global teams preferred.
Strong communication, coaching, and decision‑making skills.
Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level
