CMA/LPN/RN - Phone Nurse (FT) | Urology | Ames
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for the CMA/LPN/RN role in its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and able to provide extraordinary care every day to our patients.
Responsibilities
Assess patients’ health concerns via phone or MyChart messaging.
Provide medical advice using established protocols.
Educate patients.
Room patients.
Assist providers in exam rooms.
Assist providers with in‑office procedures.
Stock rooms.
Qualifications & Education
Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from AMT, NAHP, NCCT, NHA.
Possession of a State Licensed Practical Nurse license.
Possession of a State Registered Nurse license.
Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
Previous hospital or clinic experience.
Work Schedule
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
