Responsibilities
Rooming patients
Taking vitals and patient history
Patient interaction in-person, on the chart and on the phone
Medication refills
Education
Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Certification / License
Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA.
Possession of a State Licensed Practical Nurse license.
Possession of a State Registered Nurse license.
Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
Schedule Days: Monday - Friday. Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Experience
Clinic experience preferred.
EMR experience preferred.
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
