As part of a nationally recognized healthcare system in Sacramento, you’ll work in one of Northern California’s most advanced Women’s and Children’s Centers, supporting a Level IV NICU and a full spectrum of pediatric specialties. Our pediatric clinical pharmacy team plays a vital role in ensuring safe, effective, and individualized medication therapy for infants and children. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians and nurses in NICU and PICU settings, provide precision dosing, oversee medication safety, and educate families—all while leveraging cutting‑edge technology and evidence‑based practices. Serves as a service line or subspecialty owner. This position is 100% clinical. Demonstrates ability to direct practice or prescribing across pediatric service line, accountable for the outcome of the service line or area of expertise. System involvement in projects/initiatives as subject‑matter experts. Able to train other pharmacists within the subspecialty service line. Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred CA license required at time of application or already scheduled for California MPJE PGY2 Residency or BCPPS and 5 or more years of acute care hospital pharmacy experience (will consider candidates w/o residency or board certification if they have extensive Peds experience 10+ years). Preferred: PGY2 Pediatric Residency, BCPPS in addition to 3 years of pediatric acute care hospital pharmacy experience post‑residency. Strong Pediatric Pharmacy background in a high‑acuity setting. Pediatric units at SMCS include Pediatrics, PICU, NICU and Mother‑Baby so ideally we would like to see candidates that have this well‑rounded pharmacy background in each of these areas. $104.30 - $114.72 Potential Sign‑on Bonus and/or Relocation Assistance Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Health Care Provider Industries: Staffing and Recruiting
