Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med-Surg position on the night shift, requiring an active NY RN license, recent EPIC EMR experience, and 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience.
Responsibilities Work in a hospital setting on the Medicine E4 Medical-Surgical unit Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30 Patient care using the Epic EMR system No blocked scheduling permitted Competency testing for Med-Surg must be passed within two attempts if candidate has less than 2 years of experience RTO must be requested at the time of consideration More than three call outs in a 13-week period will result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks Travel pairs are not permitted Candidates may only be considered for one position at a time with this employer
Requirements Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration Minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg nursing experience required Current BLS certification from AHA or RQI required Epic EMR experience required for all candidates No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number required Flu vaccination required unless medical exemption is provided by a licensed professional Applicants must not reside within a 50-mile radius in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties
