American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position in New York, requiring a current NY RN license and EPIC EMR experience. Responsibilities
Work in the Critical Care Float Pool within a hospital setting Float among various ICU and critical care units as assigned Day shift position with hours from 07:00 to 19:00 No blocked scheduling is permitted Use of EPIC EMR system is required Completion of ICU competency testing is required, with two attempts allowed to pass More than three call outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination, and any missed shifts must be made up within six weeks RTO must be requested at the time of application Travelers may only apply to one position at a time Travel pairs are not permitted Local candidates residing within the specified counties are not eligible Requirements
Active New York RN license required at time of consideration Minimum of 2 years of recent relevant critical care experience required Certifications must be from AHA or RQI EPIC EMR experience required No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number required Medical exemptions for flu vaccine allowed only if signed by a licensed professional; personal or religious exemptions not accepted Benefits
