Part Time Program Manager – Brunswick City School District
Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended‑day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment for all students. The Program Manager supports safe, engaging experiences for children and helps deliver our mission of inspiring a love of learning, supporting schools, and giving families peace of mind.
Program Hours Monday – Friday: 6:45 am – 9:00 am and 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm (schedule may vary based on business needs).
Responsibilities
Exhibit role‑model qualities to ensure safety and joy standards are met; support staff in understanding roles and responsibilities.
Maintain operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date; outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensure program tasks are completed effectively.
Provide continual coaching and foster respectful relationships among staff; address challenges promptly to maintain team cohesion and productivity.
Support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well‑being of all participants; identify and submit proof of MMR.
Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age.
Proof of high school diploma or GED required.
Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
Knowledge of child development or related field (coursework or training preferred).
Strong communication skills (oral, written, and visual) with adults and children.
Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
Ohio state requirements: First Aid and CPR (in‑person), cleared tuberculosis test, and one of the following credentials: Associate’s degree or higher in Child Development or Early Childhood Education (or equivalent), or two years of training verified by a transcript including four courses in Child Development, or a current Child Development Associate Credential, or a Pre‑Kindergarten Associate Certificate, or a Montessori Pre‑Primary/ Early Childhood Credential, or a Career Pathways Level 3, or an Administrator Credential.
