Project Director

will oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects while helping expand the company’s regional presence. This position combines leadership, operations, and business development responsibilities in a true

seller/doer

model. You’ll collaborate with executive leadership and project teams to maintain operational excellence, ensure client satisfaction, and strengthen market position in

multifamily, senior living, and student housing

sectors. Key Responsibilities

Lead multiple construction projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with client goals, budgets, and schedules. Supervise and mentor a team of project managers, superintendents, and support staff to promote growth, accountability, and performance. Partner closely with executive leadership on strategic planning and execution. Engage in client development and preconstruction efforts alongside internal teams. Maintain and grow strong relationships with clients, architects, and trade partners to identify future project opportunities. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards across all active projects. Support business development initiatives through market engagement and proposal efforts. Candidate Profile

Proven experience

leading multifamily construction projects

from preconstruction through completion (required). Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to oversee multiple teams and complex projects. Experience operating in a

seller/doer

capacity—comfortable with both client‑facing business development and internal execution. Collaborative mindset with a focus on accountability, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building. Consistent career progression with a reputation for stability and follow‑through. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
