Position Summary
The Activity Director must lead by example by promoting positive morale within their department and throughout the facility. Reports directly to the Administrator. Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, and directs the activity program and staff in order to fulfill the social, psychosocial, and therapeutic needs of the residents. Provide entertainment, exercise, relaxation, opportunities to express creative talent, spiritual needs, and MDS assessments. Staff scheduling and hiring. Qualifications
Long‑term care experience required – 1 year. Genuine love of nursing home residents a must. Energetic with high degree of creativity for designing activities and programs. Benefits
