This role will provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning, debt financing, and budget management functions, ensuring company accounting procedures conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and assisting in the development, management, and growth of the core business functions.
Base Pay Range $130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Overview of the Role
Directs and coordinates company financial planning and budget management functions.
Recommends benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments.
Monitors and analyzes monthly operating results against budget.
Oversees daily operations of the finance department.
Establishes and implements short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
Directs financial audits and provides recommendations for procedural improvements.
Provides financial statement reporting and analysis, cash flow analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
Manages accounts payable, receivable, budgeting, planning, financial reporting, general ledger and fixed assets.
Directs month‑end closings, financial reporting and coordination of audits (work with outside auditors).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
7 years of experience in a senior‑level finance or accounting position.
CPA.
Manufacturing or steel industry experience.
