About the Company and Opportunity
Provides leadership and coordination of company financial planning, debt financing, and budget management functions. Ensure company accounting procedures conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Additionally, assists in the development, management and growth of the core business functions of the company.
Overview of the role
- Directs and coordinates company financial planning and budget management functions.
- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments.
- Monitors and analyzes monthly operating results against budget.
- Oversees daily operations of the finance department.
- Establishes and implements short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Directs financial audits and provides recommendations for procedural improvements.
- Provides financial statement reporting and analysis, cash flow analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
- Manages account payable, receivable, budgeting, planning financial reporting, general ledger and fixed assets.
- Directs month end closings, financial reporting and coordination of audits (work with outside auditors).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 7 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
- CPA
- Manufacturing or steel industry experience
Yearly Compensation $130,000 - $150,000 plus benefits
