Senior Accounting Analyst
Responsibilities
Take ownership of daily and monthly cash-related accounting activities, including preparing journal entries and performing detailed account reconciliations.
Research and resolve variances by analyzing supporting data, identifying root causes, and clearly communicating findings to internal stakeholders.
Contribute to ongoing optimization efforts by improving processes, introducing automation ideas, and enhancing the accuracy and reliability of cash reporting workflows.
Partner closely with teams across Accounting, Treasury, and Finance to ensure the proper reporting and compliance of complex cash movements such as international banking activity, FX settlements, and intercompany transactions.
Leverage advanced Excel capabilities, such as pivot tables, lookups, and sophisticated formulas, to handle high-volume financial data and support cash analytics and reporting.
Assist with audit‑related deliverables for both internal and external auditors, and participate in special projects and cross‑functional initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on accounting experience; experience within a public company or supporting PCAOB audits is strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; CPA certification (or progress toward completion) is highly desirable.
Highly organized and adaptable, able to manage shifting priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Proven ability to prepare accurate journal entries and reconciliations with minimal supervision.
Strong project management and time‑management skills with a consistent track record of delivering precise and timely work.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to understand how accounting entries impact the broader financial picture.
Experience working in ERP environments such as Oracle, SAP, or similar financial systems.
