Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a CA license, ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications for a night shift position with flexible weekend requirements.
Responsibilities
Position is in the ICU Float Pool of an acute care hospital
Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2
Night shifts are 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:30
May be required to float to other facilities within the state, including similar ICU units
Uses the Epic EMR system; Epic experience is required
Royal blue scrubs are required for RNs
Minimum requirement of every other weekend; weekend shifts may exceed this to meet unit needs
No on-call responsibilities
ICU RNs may be required to float between all facilities within the state as needed
Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
Scrub attire must be royal blue for RN staff
Free parking is available onsite
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Returning former permanent staff must have a 3-month separation before returning as travelers
All RTO must be clearly communicated prior to assignment consideration; post-offer changes may not be accommodated
Requirements
Active CA RN license, must be in hand at the time of consideration
Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU RN experience required
Current certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH
Experience with Epic EMR required
References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years in a comparable setting
SSN and DOB required for consideration
Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility to qualify for travel rate
Pending licenses not accepted
