Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring Neuro IR experience, critical care background, and strong ECG interpretation skills.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology (IR) lab setting
Shift is 7:30 am to 6:00 pm for 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
On-call rotation required, typically 3 times per week, with a 1-hour response time
Weekend coverage required, approximately 1 weekend per month and 1-2 shifts per week
All cases are completed in the lab environment
Uses EPIC EMR system
Hospital provides maroon scrubs
1-week orientation provided
Duties include neuro interventional radiology procedures and patient monitoring
Expect to work with a collaborative core staff team
Holiday coverage is required including one major and one minor holiday
First-time travelers may be eligible for this assignment
Requirements
Active RN license from VA or Compact state required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Must have Neuro IR experience and critical care background
Proficiency in starting IVs required
Must be able to read and interpret ECG strips and lethal rhythms
Must pass an ECG exam prior to consideration
