As Engineering Manager of our Ledger & Recon Platform, you’ll lead the development and scaling of key financial products that form the backbone of Airwallex’s seamless financial management solutions. You’ll bridge engineering and finance, ensuring accuracy, security, and innovation in our ledger and reconciliation systems. What You’ll Do
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a high‑performance and collaborative environment. Plan, implement, and oversee engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time and with high quality. Act as liaison between engineering teams and finance stakeholders, translating accounting requirements into technical solutions. Provide technical guidance and strategic direction in software development practices and system architecture focused on financial processes. Identify and execute on opportunities to improve product efficiency, security, and scalability using data‑driven approaches. Ensure compliance with data‑security and regulatory standards. Who You Are
Experienced leader with a proven track record in managing engineering teams, preferably in fintech or accounting sectors. Strong background in backend software engineering; proficiency in Java or Kotlin. Deep understanding of accrual‑based accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
