Job Title PCB Design Engineer
Job Type Contract
Hourly Pay Rate $50 - $80 per hour
Contract Duration 6 months, likely to be extended
Company Overview A High‑Tec Engineering Company located in Dallas, Texas is hiring for a brand new Contract PCB Design Engineer to join the team and business on a 6‑month project.
Qualifications
Education – Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
5+ years industry professional experience in PCB schematic and layout design
Proficiency with Altium Designer & KiCAD
Experience with multi‑layer board design and high‑speed or mixed‑signal circuitry
Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit theory, and board‑level design principles
Ability to interpret datasheets, standards, and mechanical constraints
Proven experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for test (DFT)
Familiarity with applicable IPC and IEEE standards for PCB design (IPC CID/CID+ certification a plus)
Excellent problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills
Industry experience – Aerospace, Defense, HVAC, AI, Machine Learning
