Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Special Care Nursery position requiring an active MA RN license and experience with neonates.
Responsibilities
Position is in the Special Care Nursery of a hospital setting
Works with a neonatal patient population
36-hour rotating schedule with 3x12hr shifts, including both day and night shifts based on unit needs
Every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage required
Uses EPIC charting system and experience is preferred
Flu vaccination is required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Parking may require public lots with daily fees, and validated parking may not be available
Must be willing to rotate between days and nights according to unit needs
Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to receive the standard pay rate
Dress code and scrub requirements are per hospital policy
Requirements
Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
Current BLS certification from AHA required
Current NRP certification required
Primary source verification of RN license through NURSYS and BON is mandatory
No minimum years of experience required
