Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a current MA RN license and AHA certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts per week, 7:15 pm to 7:15 am
Requires working every other weekend and rotating holidays
EPIC is used for charting and EMR documentation
Role involves the assessment and care of patients with emergency medical needs
Rotating holiday coverage is expected as part of the schedule
Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
Parking at some locations may require payment as validated parking is not available
First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Requirements
Active and unrestricted MA RN license is required; pending or conditional licenses are not accepted
Current certifications in ACLS and PALS are required and must be American Heart Association (AHA) approved
No minimum years of experience required
Primary source verification of RN license is mandatory
Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions allowed
