Overview & Highlights The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a qualified individual as a Director, Budget and Finance. The incumbent will plan, organize, control, and direct the operations and activities of the District Business Services department including the preparation, development, and monitoring of the annual district budget; perform long‑term financial projections and reporting; oversee annual external financial and performance audits; oversee bond construction accounting and other fiscal operations to ensure fiscal accountability and sound financial management of the District’s resources; ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, policies, and procedures; and perform other fiscal related duties as assigned.
***This recruitment will establish an eligibility list valid for six months*** and will be used to fill current and future vacancies.

Education and Experience:
Any combination of training and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in accounting, finance, public administration, business, or a related business field and five (5) years of increasingly responsible finance, budget development, and accounting experience, including three (3) years of supervisory experience related to the duties of the position. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and fund accounting experience preferred. Educational fiscal and accounting experience preferred.
