Director of Environmental Planning - Construction
Salary:
$155,000-$200,000/Year + Annual Bonus + Profit Sharing
Responsibilities
Coordinate with environmental planning staff, subconsultant technical specialists, and other subconsultants.
Manage budgets and invoices, and interact with clients and reviewing agencies (county, city, CDFW, RWQCB, USACE).
Prepare proposals and engage in business development, requiring strong communication and interest in those activities.
Apply QA/QC and interpersonal expertise to build collaborative relationships among team members, other RICK staff, clients, subconsultants, and agencies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in environmental studies, environmental science, environmental engineering, public planning, or a related field.
15 or more years of experience preferred. Candidates with less experience but otherwise excellent credentials will also be considered.
Strong understanding of San Diego and the broader Southern California region, and relationships with agencies or key clients. Relocation assistance available.
Experience leading proposals, business pursuits, and marketing of environmental consulting services.
Existing client relationships and ability to build relationships with a wide variety of people.
Excellent writing, verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
Strong attention to detail, including spelling, proofreading, and organizational skills.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
