Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position requiring a MA RN license, BLS certification, and strong telemetry skills.
Responsibilities
Work in the Float Pool covering Med/Surg and Telemetry units in a hospital setting
Day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week
Every other weekend and every other holiday are required
No on-call responsibilities
Uses Meditech EMR, experience highly preferred
Responsible for floating to various Med/Surg and Telemetry units within the hospital
Will have support from established hospital teams on each unit
Every other holiday coverage is mandatory
Must be able to work with diverse patient populations and acuity levels
Requirements
Active MA RN license required
Current BLS certification from ARC or AHA required
Minimum of 3 years prior Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
Telemetry experience required
Must complete a Telemetry test on the first day of orientation
Meditech experience highly preferred
2024/2025 flu vaccine required prior to start
