With co‑headquarters in Los Angeles and Miami, and a focused team in and around New York City, a large percentage of our team members are based in some of the biggest media markets in the U.S. We’re proud to also have team members in other Latin American gateway markets like Mexico City and Madrid. H+M is looking for an Account Manager to join our dynamic team of professionals who seek to enable our clients to say the right thing to and engage with the right audiences in the right ways via the right mix of public relations channels in order to achieve the best, most optimal results. The individual who steps into this role should be a
seasoned public relations professional with expertise in English and Spanish‑language media outreach, as well as have experience leading multiple public relations campaigns, having played a similar role at a public relations agency.
Additionally, as a valued member of the agency team, it will be advantageous to the individual if they have strong experience in strategic planning; ideation and execution; team mentorship and guidance; client relations and counsel; press material development and editing; media relations and storytelling; and event planning and execution. Core Responsibilities
Serve as a primary contact for clients, anticipating their needs and proactively sharing insights and updates. Lead campaign planning; this includes development of PR plans, campaign concepts, and more. Establish the media approach for campaigns and announcements, and lead the media outreach efforts for the team. Write, review, and/or edit client and media materials; and ensure team communications are clear, concise, and include a distinct POV. Manage various national and regional PR and communications activities including events, media relations, storytelling and more. Effectively manage the team’s campaign or project finances. Oversee the team’s ongoing reporting efforts; always looking at new and different ways to present and share updates and put findings to good use. Oversee the development of comprehensive coverage recaps that reflect all campaign efforts, including quantitative and qualitative storytelling and analysis, as well as combined key learnings. Maintain a strong understanding of each client’s business and industries, and encourage other team members to do so as well. Staff events like media interviews, movie premieres, press junkets, film screenings, celebrity meet and greets, influencer activations, and more. Requirements

excellent written and verbal communications skills , and is
fluent in English and Spanish
and can seamlessly write and speak in both languages with clients, media, and others. Worked in the public relations industry for at least five years , with a majority of that time spent working on
national and regional campaigns
for global brands and entities while at a
public relations agency. Held a similar role at a
public relations agency , and
worked with clients in the
retail, technology, lifestyle, entertainment, or other related industries. Acutely understands how to reach and engage a
multicultural audience , with an emphasis on
Hispanics , via public relations, and has a proven track record and experience in
integrated and strategic communications
across the entire paid, earned, shared, and owned spectrum. Has a
strong passion for public relations , and thrives on securing earned media hits for clients. Based in
Miami
or
Los Angeles
and is able to
staff and support in-person events on a regular basis
– at night, on weekends, and on holidays, if needed. Earned a
Bachelor’s Degree
in communications, public relations, marketing, English, or a related field of study from an accredited institution.
