What You Will Do
Serve as the SIPT project lead for assigned efforts, ensuring disciplined execution across engineering teams.
Drive action-item management, closure, and tracking across multiple projects.
Develop and maintain Level 3 schedules in MS Project; analyze and manage critical path.
Establish, own, and maintain risk & opportunity management for specific projects and programs.
Lead project management activities for assigned tasks, including coordination of component and system-level certification testing.
Track, manage, and report budgets, resource plans, deliverables, and performance metrics.
Drive new product development or reuse applications, including requirements flow-down, verification planning, and design coordination.
Lead system integration, verification, and validation activities.
Support and lead Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
Drive reliability improvement efforts across Boeing ECS components.
Apply and reinforce Standard Work within the Collins Management System.
Prepare and deliver content for working-level, senior leadership, and executive-level reviews.
Coordinate with Boeing and internal customers to support critical milestones and technical deliverables.
Execute tasks as needed to ensure successful outcomes for internal and external customer commitments.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or a related field).
Experience in Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, and/or Project Engineering.
Qualifications We Prefer
Working knowledge with thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
Prior experience in a customer facing role (Aerospace industry experience is preferred).
Experience with RTCA/DO-160 environmental qualification and certification processes.
Experience with Environmental Control Systems, including component-level behavior and system interactions.
System lab integration experience (hardware, software, test environments).
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and tools, including development, analysis, and reporting of cost/schedule performance.
