At Raytheon, the Hardware Engineering Team delivers engineering design and development services across a wide range of products. The Critical Item Production Readiness (CIPR) department focuses on ensuring that every product is designed with its entire production lifecycle in mind, integrating manufacturability, assembly, scalability, and cost management to achieve production excellence and reliability.
What You Will Do:
Flow down, allocate, and derive electrical and mechanical hardware requirements that reflect system‑level requirements.
Plan verification and generate artifacts for electrical and mechanical hardware requirements.
Determine gaps for existing or non‑developed hardware against requirements.
Apply Design-to-Cost best practices on development programs.
Train on and apply RTX tools, including PTC Windchill PDM and IBM DOORS.
Collaborate with coworkers and multi‑discipline teams.
Receive training on Raytheon processes and procedures.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
Experience delivering presentations (verbal and/or written).
U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Major in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
3.5 or above cumulative GPA.
Prior engineering project or internship experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or other presentation tools.
Ability to work effectively with coworkers on cross‑function teams.
